Rosendale Surgery |
In the foyer of Memorial Hospital, Shooter's Hill |
Probably not a book I would normally read but
I was so intrigued to find myself the borrower of
a book saying 'read me' that I devoured it.
Towards the end I was staying up to all hours fighting
fatigue as the story unfolded. An interesting insight
to colonial African culture in wartime which I new
precious little about. I especially enjoyed the
imperfect characters and the clever portrayal of
misunderstandings and miscommunications throughout
the book. |
