We are delighted to welcome back esteemed conductor Rupert Bond to lead a scratch choral workshop including Faure’s Requiem and Vivaldi’s Gloria. Singers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join. Learn the piece in the afternoon then perform it in the evening. Complete with musicians and soloists. Whether you’re taking part in the workshop or just coming for the performance, don’t miss out on this chance to enjoy beautiful music in an atmospheric setting. Local historian Brian Green leads this walk which will introduce the features which have gone to create Dulwich today. The fields, trees and hedgerows of ancient times are still to be seen and here and there are clues to past agricultural practice, manufacture and the pressures which turned this rural corner into an educational hot-spot. International street artists have created murals in Dulwich with their interpretations of old master paintings at Dulwich Picture Gallery. Led by street artist Remi Rough and Ingrid Beazley, who will introduce the Dulwich Picture Gallery paintings on which these murals are based. The walk will finish at Dulwich Picture Gallery in order to see the inspiration for the works.
